WHO ARE WE?
RICHARD.
Captain Daddy, is there anything this guy can’t do? He has taken up the challenge, learnt not only to sail, but all the things that go with owning a boat. Absolutely our hero, and looks after us all so well. He also loves skiing, surfing and diving, and has become a master of fitting as many toys as possible onto our space challenged ketch!
CAROLYN.
Mum of this crew, I love surfing, diving, sailing and skiing. I love the sense of freedom and adventure that this lifestyle has brought our family, I am enjoying the challenge that is homeschooling 4 boys! I have always had a passion for Oceans and Mountains, and love introducing it all to the boys. Most of all I love having my little family with me 24/7.
JACKSON.
Named after Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He is a nature lover and avid reader with a kind heart, a responsible and caring big brother. He loves recalling facts about animals and the world. Jackson is learning to help on night watch, take the helm and makes breakfast every day. He aspires to build his own boat and save the Amazon Rainforest from deforestation with his best buddy Tasman.
TASMAN.
This kid has a huge heart, loves all creatures big and small. He loves construction, and has been a LEGO fan since 3yrs old. Tas has a huge amount of energy, he brings us a lot of joy, he is very interested in navigation, and with his love of maths we hope he will take over these responsibilities soon. Also wants to save the world, hates plastic (except LEGO) and his favourite animal is a turtle!
MCKINLEY.
This kid loves skiing and mountains, (not surprising as he is named for the tallest mountain in America). His other great passion is music, he has his heart set on becoming a rock-star. His favourite animal is the Dolphin! He is brave, funny and kind, he loves rainbows and hanging out with his big brothers. On-board he takes charge of anchoring, and loves to keep a watch on the bow for Dolphins and Coral Bombies.
HAWKEN.
A born sailor, he has spent most of his life on Moon River (excluding a brief 6 month stint as a new born), he has been on the ropes and winches since before he could walk, and loves helming the tender and the optimist. His ambition in life is to own a donut shop (in the Amazon)! He has a beautiful sense of humor and loves his big brothers, we love watching him grow with a huge appreciation for the outdoors.
